Our poultry currently include Mottled Javas, Barred Hollands and Delawares. So why don’t we raise Cornish Rock Crosses you may ask? This breed is not well suited for living outdoors and forging for food as nature intended. We prefer the handsome pure breeds listed above because they are lively, active, heat and cold tolerant and just plain fun to watch as they scamper after butterflies and scratch through the grasses for bugs and seeds. They also produce a more flavorful meal in the form of either meat or eggs.
